Absinthe to Absinthe, Dust to Dust
Absinthe to Absinthe, Dust to Dust / All Cabs, No Cars. It was destined to be a night of mayhem, with the London pals. We started the night with Absinthe and ended the night with Absinthe. My bbbf, who mixed the most drinks (absinthe + champagne, wine + beer + gin+tonics) somehow managed to stand before us completely sober at the end of the night. He’s a tank. It beats me.
BELLINIS & WATERMELON MARTINIS
Minimal make up – just eyeliner. No foundation, concealer, blush, lippie etc.
Just another one of those nights with too many bellinis & watermelon martinis. But this time, we actually managed to make it out of Velvet and onto the Zouk dance floor.
Upon review of the photos, I realized B & V appear to be making out in almost all of them. Also, I have an unspoken promise with my bbbf that all his super unglam photos will remain censored. It’s a pity, really, because I think you would enjoy his drunken insanity.
I have a summer full of photos to share – hopefully this means I’ll be back soon with something more substantial. Till then, x

ONE NIGHT IN BANGKOK
We zipped over to Bangkok for the weekend again! This time to visit some friends :) It’s always lovely, to run away from the real world, even if just for a little while. One crazy night where we had our own private barman in the club & the bottles actually outnumbered the people. Fast & Frenzied shopping- I love Thai independent designers! And the lovely boys who followed me around with aching feet and my shopping bags! Shawn even offered to ask his friend whose family owns Platinum mall to close the mall for private shopping for me so I could shop in peace! Insane!! Of course, a trip to Thailand is never complete without awesome thai food and warm smiles!

A very censored version of photos from our impromptu night at Filter (thank you Cheryl & Nicky), I’m still considering if the other photos should even be allowed to see the light of day. Maybe a private album on facebook.
Eight of us consuming four bottles of hard liquor, the obligatory jager-bombs, and then some : two dead drunk boys at the end of the night, two happy girls, a strangely cute role reversal of both their boys, one x blur Leon and a new friend Liyun (Kim.H’s classmate) who probably left thinking we were crazy. I promise we’re not. Not always, anyway :)

- When: Bi-annually event, Who: involving a huge extended group of friends, What: whose main and only goal is to end up drunk and happy;
- 400+ photos of which only 18 are posted here;
- 72 Jagar Bombs, Countless Tequila Shots and Long Island Iced Tea, Drunkards in the corner, middle fingers everywhere, sinful cancer sticks, asthma attacks, unwarranted touching, talking to strangers, outside voices;
- Carpooling home, 8 still standing participate in drunken karaoke, drunken ping-pong and drunken mahjong into the morning sunshine;
- Collateral damage limited to: 1 X mobile phone and Unkown X Hangovers. At least this year, we didn’t leave anyone behind, lying asleep outside the club only to be found and sent home by some very nice ah bengs the next day ;)

The truth is: we’re getting too old for this.
Nothing like a good bowl of Bak Chor Mee Sua (2 bowls for me!) to feed a hungry stomach in the middle of the night :)
